My Approach

Working together will be a collaborative, engaging, and interactive process. We will move at a pace that supports your growth while respecting your threshold for change. My practice is primarily informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), an evidence-based and highly effective modality, alongside Attachment-Focused EMDR, mindfulness, and my own life’s experience both in and out of the therapy space.

Our work will explore your world not only through conversation and reflection, but also by tuning into the body and emotions. Each session is grounded in care, curiosity, and integrity, offering a space where you can safely access insight, healing, and self-compassion.

    Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own feelings, thoughts, and roles. Some parts may carry pain or trauma, while others work hard to protect you. IFS helps you connect with your core Self—your calm, compassionate inner leader—to understand, heal, and bring balance to these parts, leading to greater self-awareness, emotional relief, and inner harmony.

    Attachment-Focused EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-backed therapy designed to help people heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. By using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain reprocess stuck memories, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing for greater clarity, resilience, and relief in the present. As a sub-specialty, Attachment-Focused EMDR focuses on relationship wounds and trauma, prioritizing safety, connection, and emotional attunement

    Mindfulness

Mindfulness in therapy involves bringing gentle, nonjudgmental awareness to your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment. By learning to observe your internal experience with curiosity and compassion, mindfulness helps you build emotional resilience, reduce reactivity, and create space for intentional, grounded responses, rather than automatic patterns rooted in stress or past pain.
